Allegheny Paper & Press Co. is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.

Our goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. The site is designed to work with modern screen readers, supports keyboard-only navigation, uses semantic HTML, and maintains a color-contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text.

What we have done

• Clear, descriptive page titles and section headings.
• Alt text on informative images; decorative images marked as such.
• Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
• Focus states on all interactive elements.
• Responsive layout that reflows for zoom up to 200% and for narrow viewports.
• Fonts loaded with font-display: swap so text remains readable while fonts load.

What we are still working on

We audit the site quarterly and prioritize any issues found. Known open items are typically related to third-party scripts (such as the checkout modal) that we cannot fully control.
